Vision & mission

The Ocean Nomads designs journeys that create a deeper sense of discovery and personal growth. Our mission is to let travellers live authentic experiences that enrich them as people, weaving their own life choices and values into the journey.

Travel is an inner search, a discovery of emotions, a thirst for knowledge that asks you to put yourself on the line. It is open-mindedness. It is freedom, and letting yourself go with the flow of life. It is the search for TRUTH.

Born in Italy to an Italian father (my paternal grandfather was born in New York) and a Persian mother who moved to Italy in the 1980s, I grew up in a multicultural world. My childhood was afternoons drinking chai to the sound of Farsi, summers scented with lemon on my beloved Amalfi Coast, and hot, sun-baked road trips from Arizona to California and Nevada. Always barefoot, sitting on the floor painting and making things, or playing on the beach below our house. Surrounded by fabrics and rugs, I worked as a model as a teenager and helped my mother choose pieces for her boutique.

That natural bond with this world led me to train in fashion, with a degree in Literature and Philosophy specialising in fashion and a master's in fashion communication in Rome, where I lived for about 6 years. I spent several years in the frenetic world of fashion and art communication in Italy, then moved abroad in 2016 to work in design, becoming mainly a digital marketing manager looking after social media, content, advertising and e-commerce brand websites, and taking part in events in Paris, London and New York.

In the meantime, my irrepressible passion for travel took me around the world to see it. The two years of the pandemic made me reconsider my values and pushed me to follow my vocation, specialising as a Travel Designer.

The love of travel and everything around it is what keeps me alive, and discovering different places and cultures is, for me, the essence of life. I write the pages of my life in different colours each time, creating myself anew according to my values and goals. Always following my truth. Sun on my face. Far from negative vibes. Always against the current.
